Build by Israel as a bomb disposal cybershell, the Sentinel is essentially a light RATS. Designed to operate in dense urban areas (such as the interiors of arcologies) with little or no damage to private property, Sentinel is a favourite of police armed response teams systemwide. It's long-legged quadruped design has a distinctly feline look, but this is spoiled by the sensor-cluster on the front of the torso and the two manipulator arms that extend from the shoulders.

A PRA designed RATS intended for guerrilla warfare, the Taipan resembles a long flattened snake. A sensor cluster (including a laser designator) is housed in the tip of the tail, which the Taipan can curl above it's head to use as a periscope. Overall the Taipan design is not as powerful as most RATS, but is extremely stealthy. It also features small built in hydrojets, which can operate together with the flexibody drive to make it fully amphibious.

A controversial development of the K-10A, the K-15 includes considerably more human DNA, giving them opposable thumbs and even greater intelligence. The modifications are sufficiently extreme that K-15's cannot breed with normal dogs or K-10's, and the first generations had to be grown in exowombs. It is this human DNA that makes K-15's controversial - they blur the line between uplifts and parahumans. Most nations (including New Zealand) legally classify K-15's as uplifts because they retain 80% commonality with canine DNA. The NZ Police use K-15's to supplement K-10A's in their dog squads. The K-15's superior intelligence and manual dexterity mean they can be trusted with a greater degree of freedom, they can operate things such as doors and elevators, and they are less likely to disturb useful evidence.
